Description **Title: Energy Infrastructure Analyst** **Portfolio: Energy International Development/Fuels and Energy Security** **Location: Hybrid/Reston 2 days onsite 3 days remote.** ICF is seeking a detail-orientated energy analyst to support our expanding energy team in the areas of electricity, petroleum, and natural gas markets and infrastructure. You will contribute to the development of innovative, analytical, high-quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. The team’s primary services involve conducting research, data analysis, and modeling to support policy analysis or to develop energy insights to inform decision-making. The team also gets involved in energy-related emergency planning and response. Our consulting engagements typically integrate critical energy infrastructure studies, energy market fundamental analysis, resource assessments, and economic analysis to provide advice on energy market trends, regulatory issues, and investments. ICF’s clients include federal, state, and local government clients and commercial entities. This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, working between an office location in Reston, VA and from home. **Key Responsibilities:** + Provide research, analysis, technical writing, and reporting on specific technical issues + Collect and analyze data for modeling or analytic projects. Create maps of energy infrastructure and dependencies + Monitor markets and the key regulatory bodies in order to identify the prospects of changes in regulations and other market-related developments that may affect the nation's infrastructure + Create written documents that convey key analytic findings for distribution to internal/external clients and/or present findings verbally to clients **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or related subjects with 2+ years of relevant work experience + 2+ years of knowledge of energy supply chains in Fuels, Natural Gas and Electricity. **Preferred Skills/Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or related subjects and 3+ years of relevant work experience + Proficiency in research and writing skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal settings + Ability to demonstrate strong quantitative and/or modeling skills, specifically database management and data analysis skills + Knowledge of energy sector dependencies and resilience initiatives is an advantage + Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills + Basic experience with ArcGIS suite of software \#EIDFES **Working at ICF** ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants. The pay range for this position is: $79,643.00 - $135,392.00 Reston, VA (VA30)
